LEAD 5860 - Leadership Through Using Outside the Box Thinking (3 Credits)
This course will introduce the students to the concepts developed by Malcolm Gladwell in the three books: Blink, Tipping Point and Outliers. Students will discover the unique characteristics of the unique process of quick decisions or conclusions that are described and illustrated in the book, Blink. Students will learn to recognize the trend features that result in a tipping point event that influences an activity. Students will learn to identify an outlier. Students as leaders will learn about developing strategies to use in capitalizing on the concepts presented in the Malcolm Gladwell books.
